Transparency and Accountability
This initiative, the “Muslim Scout Humanitarian Services Platform,” is one of the initiatives of the World Islamic Union for Scouts and Youth that will help highlight its leading role in serving humanity worldwide. It seeks to be institutionally framed in a regulated manner that keeps pace with global systems and standards of transparency, accountability, and compliance, and supports the global orientation toward humanitarian services and quality of life.
Therefore, it is essential for the World Islamic Union for Scouts and Youth to foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and compliance. The Union works with its members, partners, and advisers to comply with the standards and policies set out in the Union’s Charter and those of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and its ethical principles. Any misconduct that may occur and falls short of these principles is reported; we, in turn, investigate it in strict confidentiality and take the necessary measures in accordance with the applicable system and its implementing regulations approved by the member states.
