About Us
The Muslim Scout Platform for Humanitarian Services
A humanitarian initiative affiliated with the World Federation of Muslim Scouts, a body belonging to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). The initiative offers a wide range of programs, events, and activities, and implements its projects in coordination with relevant sectors in both OIC member and non-member states and with national Scout associations. It draws its legal and official reference from its Basic Statute and operating regulations, in addition to the recommendations and resolutions of the Foreign Ministers of the OIC Member States issued at their 49th Session (Resolution No. 49/7–ث), 16–17 March 2023, Nouakchott, Mauritania, and the recommendations and approval of the World Islamic Scouting Committee—the Federation’s highest authority—at its 18th meeting (5–8 February 2023), which endorsed and supported launching initiatives, implementing activities and events, and inaugurating the Muslim Scout Platform for Humanitarian Services.
